Dr. Melissa Rosen, a gastroenterologist, graduated with honors from Stanford University. She earned her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and went on to complete her internal medicine internship and residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital; she is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Rosen then pursued a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Weill Cornell Medical Center, with a concentration in inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Rosen is dedicated to the management of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Her additional clinical interest include colon cancer screening, gastroesophagel reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, peptic ulcer disease, liver disease, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Dr.Rosen also has a background in clinical research in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. Dr. Rosen performs upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and video capsule endoscopy.
