Dr. Stephanie Blank received her bachelor’s degree in English and Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University. She went on to receive a degree in medicine from the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine La Jolla, California. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center and her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. Dr. Blank is board certified and holds a subspecialty certificate in Gynecologic Oncology with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Since joining NYU Langone Medical Center in 2001, Dr. Blank has most recently served as an Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the NYU School of Medicine. She has also held academic appointments at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and The New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Blank is a member of numerous professional societies, including the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Blank’s research interests are focused on the treatment and prevention of gynecologic malignancies, specifically endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, obesity and cancer, and survivorship.
