Dr. Peggy Yih is a native New Yorker, who graduated from the Dalton High School. She attended Yale University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She earned a medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency training at the New York University Medical Center. She was selected as a Chief Resident for the Department of Medicine.
She is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing clinical medicine for over twelve years. She provides patients with individualized and comprehensive care. She is currently Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine, and her responsibilities include teaching medical students and residents.
Her primary interests are preventative medicine, general internal medicine and management of heart failure. She won the Patient’s Choice award in 2010. Prior to joining the Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health, Dr. Yih worked as an internist in private practice with the Concorde Medical Group.
