Janet Abrams, MD

Dr. Janet Abrams is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Flushing Hospital Medical Center, where she served as a Chief Resident in her last year of Residency training.

In addition to seeing patients at NYU Langone's Joan H. Tisch Center for Women's Health, Dr. Abrams also sees patients at NYU Columbus Medical and NYU Great Neck.

Dr. Abrams provides high quality, individualized patient care and brings intellect and heart to her practice. She believes in the old adage, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Therefore, patient education and preventive care are important aspects of Dr. Abrams’ practice philosophy. This is best indicated by the compliment of services she provides, including: preventive GYN care, contraception management, basic infertility evaluation and treatment and hormone replacement therapy. She also focuses her practice on the diagnosis and treatment of menopause, osteoporosis, irregular menses, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic prolapse, pelvic masses, hormonally affected mood disorders and decreased libido. Dr. Abrams performs office and hospital based medical and surgical procedures using both laparoscopic and open techniques. 

Raquel Dardik, MD

Dr. Raquel Dardik is a longtime resident in the tri-state area. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Brandeis University. She earned her medical degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Additionally, she earned a master's degree in medical education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. She completed her internship and residency training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Dardik is board certified in gynecology and obstetrics and has been practicing clinical medicine for over 12 years. She provides patients with individualized and comprehensive care. Her previous positions include director of ambulatory ob/gyn, residency program director, administrative director of ob/gyn and vice chairman of the department of ob/gyn at Newton Medical Center. Prior to joining NYU Langone Medical Center's Joan H. Tisch Center for Women's Health, Dr. Dardik was in practice as an ob/gyn at Atlantic Health System in New Jersey. Her primary interest are menopausal management, patient safety and quality improvement.
