Jaclyn Bonder, MD
Dr. Jaclyn H. Bonder received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania before attending medical school at New York University. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (aka Physiatry) and did her post-graduate residency training at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine of NYU Langone Medical Center. During her residency, she was honored with the position of Chief Resident and with funding to support growth of women’s health rehabilitation in both academic and clinical areas. She is currently the Medical Director of Women's Health Rehabilitation at Rusk and oversees a staff of multidisciplinary rehabilitation specialists who focus on women’s health.
Dr. Bonder has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals on the topic of women’s health and rehabilitation and regularly delivers platform presentations at national conferences. She treats women with musculoskeletal conditions at all ages. Her clinical research interests include pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, muscular causes of pelvic pain, and psychological comorbidities associated with these conditions. She is a current member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Academy of PM&R, International Pelvic Pain Society and American Medical Women’s Association.
In addition to seeing patients at the Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health, Dr. Bonder sees patients at NYULMC Ambulatory Care Center.
