Letter from our Medical Director, Nieca Goldberg, MD
I’ve been a physician for nearly 20 years and I have treated thousands of women in my practice. Being a physician often means being an astute medical detective. However, there is no mystery behind the medical care women require and the nurturing attention they deserve. NYU Langone Medical Center has recognized this too.
At the Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health we provide primary and specialty care with the understanding that women are more than their symptoms or medical issues. Maintaining your good health is our objective and we are sensitive about ensuring that your care is managed thoroughly and efficiently.
Our goal and shared philosophy is to provide comprehensive and holistic women’s health care. In this state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary environment, physicians collaborate with one another to provide our patients with the finest medical care. Our doctors and staff have been carefully chosen to reflect our principles of quality care and or their compassionate approach to women. Additionally, as part of a major academic medical center, we can help patients access additional medical resources and innovative research trials when needed.
That’s why I’m honored and excited at the opportunity to be medical director of the Joan H. Tisch Center for Women’s Health.
